This is the third webinar in the 2022 Fall Webinar Series: Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Awareness.
We live in a changing and challenging world, full of rapidly increasing amounts of input and decreasing amounts of connection. Children, much like adults, are impacted in physical, emotional, and social ways by the challenges of modern life. Kids need skills to help them navigate the world. Yoga and mindfulness practices give kids practical ways to increase their self-awareness, access their inner resources, and find their personal power. These practices are more lasting and impactful for children, when done together with their trusted adults.
Background and importance of mindful practices and yoga
Breath practices that are fun and engaging
Mindful movement practices to calm the nervous system
This webinar is intended for parents, teachers, mental health practitioners, and a variety of children support roles.
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance, agenda, and handouts.
