About This Event
During this session, we will focus on the normal development and timeline for motor skills, verbal skills, and higher order thinking in early childhood.
Objectives:
In this webinar, we will:
- Identify routine developmental milestones for children between ages 6 months to 4 years old.
- Review how development progresses.
- Review activities that lead to development on time.
- Begin to recognize abnormal delays.
Audience:
This event is directed toward professionals who work with children who may be able to recognize development issues and advocate for children in need.
Continuing Education:
This is a 1-hour webinar. Participants will receive handouts, an agenda, and a certificate of attendance to submit for continuing education credits on their own.
Speaker(s)
Dr. Lackore is a Pediatrician in Kearney, NE providing the full spectrum of pediatric care from Preterm infants through teenage years. He enjoys rounding at the hospital, attending preterm deliveries, and seeing patients in clinic. While not at work Dr. Lackore is active in the community volunteering on hospital boards and church committees. When at home he enjoys time with his wife and 3 children.
