An 8-month training program on the Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN) model of reflective practice to help professionals improve their interactions with others through attunement.

Digital Badges for FAN Graduates

FAN graduates will be awarded a digital badge to showcase their completion of the course.

Training Components 

1. Pre-training Reflective Consultation

Reflective consultation sessions provided by a FAN mentor to help training participants learn more about how the FAN model is used.

2. Initial Training

A two-day training to build the foundational skills and knowledge to utilize the FAN model in interactions with supervisees, clients, colleagues, and others.

3. FAN Mentor Sessions

Meetings with a FAN Mentor to process through your experiences using the FAN model.

4. Advanced Training

A one-day training that focuses on refining the FAN skills you have developed

Post-training Support

FAN graduates will get access to continued training and support in utilizing the FAN model through the FAN Community of Practice after completing the FAN training program.

Since 2017, NRPVYC has evaluated the effects of FAN training with over 1,200 professionals and has found these statistically significant changes.
