About This Event

During this session, we will review common developmental delays seen in early childhood and examine three specific pediatric conditions and their associated delays. The goal is not being able to diagnose specific problems but rather recognize when further assessment may be warranted and then understanding what therapies or supportive interventions may be pursued.

Objectives:

In this webinar, we will:

  • Discuss supportive therapies and evaluations to treat developmental delays.
  • Review Down syndrome (Trisomy 21) and associated delays.
  • Review autism and associated delays.
  • Review fetal alcohol syndrome and associated delays.
Audience:

This event is directed toward professionals who work with young children.

Continuing Education:

This is a 1-hour webinar. Participants will receive handouts, an agenda, and a certificate of attendance to submit for continuing education credits on their own.
