What Happens During CPP
CPP treatment bridges the child’s experience with the child and caregiver to help increase attachment, restore a normal developmental trajectory, and heal any ruptures in the relationship. The caregiver is encouraged to reflect on their own experiences to gain a better understanding of how their past is influencing their parenting today.
