Sufna John, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. She specializes in assessing and treating childhood trauma, with a special focus on intergenerational trauma and the impact of trauma on infants and young children. Dr. John is passionate about partnering with various systems (e.g., child welfare, child advocacy centers, mental health agencies, education settings) to implement trauma-informed and equitable supports that build resilience in children and caregivers exposed to trauma.
